Holiday Herb Rub


Herb rubs for meat and poultry ensure full flavor and juiciness. This zesty blend is perfect for your holiday turkey and for everyday chicken and pork dishes, too.

Ingredients
1/3 cup fresh rosemary leaves
2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
2 tablespoons fresh parsley
1 tablespoon fresh sage leaves
1/3 cup thinly sliced garlic cloves
Zest of 1 lemon
1 tablespoon Carapelli Mild Olive Oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cracked black pepper

Cooking Directions
Place all ingredients in the work bowl of a food processor. Process all ingredients until zest and garlic are finely chopped and all ingredients are blended well. Refrigerate until ready to use. Great on poultry or pork.

For use on Holiday Turkey: Rub under skin of 10-12 pound turkey prior to baking. If desired, brush exterior of turkey with Carapelli Extra Virgin Olive Oil for added flavor and color.
